I was rinsing a pesach utensil midair over a sink that was not yet kashered. The utensil slipped out of my hand and fell into the sink. What is the status of that utensil? What, if any, would the protocol be to make it KFP? It was made out of metal.
If sink was clean, and there was no hot water being used at that time, utensil is still ok for Pesah. You can pour boiling water over utensil if not sure.
